Depending on the permissions your school/district has granted your account, you may also have the ability to add or edit students directly through the application. You will know if you have the permissions to add and edit students if you navigate to the “Manage Students”, “My Caseload” section and you are brought to a landing page with four different options.
The first option is labeled “Manage”, and as the name implies allows you to manage your caseload of students. Selecting the “Manage” option brings you to your student list in which you can view all students currently apart of your caseload. You can manage this list by selecting the “Edit” button in the top.
The second option on the Manage IEP goals landing page is to “Add New”. This option is intended to be used to add any new students that may not be already included as options at your school. The “Add New” button will bring you to a form to complete with all of the necessary information for that new student.
The third option on the Manage IEP goals landing page is for “Editing” existing IEP goals. In case a student name has changed or if a student has moved to a higher grade level then you can edit that student by selecting this option.
The last option on the Manage students landing page is to “Archive”. This archive button should be used extremely cautiously as it cannot be undone through the app. The archive button is intended to be used for students who no longer belong at that school and no longer need their services and progress to be tracked. Archiving the student will hide it from all lists when tracking services and progress. You will still be able to view the data for archived goals through the app’s analytics features.
Using the manage students features in the application can allow you to manage, add new, edit, and archive students for tracking services and progress.
